Artist's Comments

This is a picture from eurasianrose86_stock's page. However, she no longer has the stock page as far as I could find, so I'm crediting the original photo back to her main page I used a rougher textured paper than usual because I thought the color was pretty. I think it worked well to give her legs a softness, but I didn't like how it effected the hair so much. Portraits seem to be better on a smoother stock.

Thank you very much Ruth  :D I wasn't sure if I liked the paper. It was really rough so in a way I liked the effect and in a way I didn't. It was really hard to tease out any detail. But I'm glad you like the pose, I thought the angle was really neat, too. That's the one I started before my surgery. I literally had to dust it off before I could finish it :lmao: Have you ever tried to dust a drawing? Hehe..it's a total pain. All the little dust bunnies :jackdirt: would just clump together but not want to come off. Probably the rough texture of the paper didn't help.
