Whew...finally I'm done AND have a picture of it  It felt like it took forever but realistically it was probably 50ish hours or so. Though this is pastel I categorized it under "painting". Pastels, being a dry medium, are often thought of as drawings. Convention dictates that they are drawings if the pastels are used in a drawing manner (i.e. using line work and a single layer). When multiple layers are built up and there are no drawing lines to speak of, then it is considered a painting. This particular painting has anywhere from 8 to as many as 20 layers. It's S L O W. I think it's only second slowest to colored pencil  Credit for the reference goes to the wonderful  and specifically this picture [link] ...Thank you Lockstock for having so many wonderful pictures I give my permission for  to display this piece in their gallery. |

I agree about the red. Even though you're beautiful in any color hair, the red is SO you and it's hawt
