| I am a self-taught artist. I have been drawing and painting for twenty years, however the first ten I was off-and-on with it. After a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and the possibility of losing my ability to draw due to dexterity problems that MS can cause, I became more focused on art. I wanted to be able to do as much as I could while I still had the muscle control to do it, as well as the fact that drawing helps maintain a level of function I may have otherwise lost by now. I love art and I love my life. Although MS can be considered a bad diagnosis, I am grateful for it as it has made me appreciate my life and the gifts that I have so much more. I am a better person for it and, believe it or not, a happy one. I thank you for taking the time to look at my shop and I welcome all inquiries. Also, I am not nearly as formal as this biography may make me seem. I just feel compelled to be formal when writing things like this. |
